The Shimpo DTMX-1C is a hand-held digital tension meter used for accurately measuring the tension of various moving materials, such as wires, fibers, and strings. It is manufactured by Nidec-Shimpo and features data logging, data output capabilities, and a durable, lightweight cast aluminum housing. 

• Tension range: 100 to 1,000 cN (centinewtons), which is equivalent to 100 to 1,000 gf (gram-force).
• Rated capacity (R.C.): 981 cN (1,000 gf).
• Accuracy: ±1.5% R.C..
• Maximum speed: Capable of measuring tensions on materials moving at speeds of up to 1,000 m/min.
• Roller span: 38 mm.
• Power source: Operates on four AA alkaline batteries, providing up to 20 hours of continuous use. An optional AC adapter can also be used.
