The Omron EE-SX675 is a slot-type photomicrosensor, a type of photoelectric switch used in industrial automation. It operates on a through-beam principle, where an infrared LED light source is on one side of a slot and a phototransistor receiver is on the other. When an object passes through the 5mm wide slot, the light beam is interrupted, causing the sensor to switch output.
