FX2N-16EYR Servo Driver assay
Servo Driver Compatibility
The FX2N-16EYR cannot directly connect to or control a servo motor because its relay outputs are too slow for high-speed pulse commands. Instead, the module is used for low-frequency, high-current discrete control such as servo Enable/Disable signals, Fault resets, or external electromagnetic brakes.
For true servo motion control, you must wire the servo driver's command signals to a PLC base unit with Transistor Outputs (e.g., FX2N- \(\dots \) -MT) or a dedicated Pulse Output Module (e.g., FX2N-1PG or FX2N-10PG).
Addressing
The FX2N-16EYR occupies 16 contiguous output points. The addresses are automatically assigned in hexadecimal based on the module's physical position relative to the main PLC unit:

Y017, the new module's outputs are addressed asY020throughY027andY030throughY037. -
Addressing in Software: In GX Works2 or GX Developer, the module does not require a special configuration; you simply program instructions directly to these assigned
Yaddresses (e.g.,OUT Y020).
