• Indicating Levels: The card features six dots that change color individually at 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, and 60% relative humidity (RH).
• Color Change: The moisture-sensitive spots change color from blue (dry) to pink (humid) as humidity increases. Note that some modern cobalt-free versions might change from green to purple.
• Reusability: These cards are generally reusable; the dots will change back to their original "dry" color when placed in a dry environment.
• Application: They are widely used in enclosed spaces like moisture barrier bags for packaging of electronic components, circuit boards, and military equipment to monitor moisture control and desiccant activity.
• Usage Note: When initially exposed to air, all dots might react; the card needs about 30 minutes to calibrate for an accurate reading.
