Here is how you test this motor:1. Visual Check

• Check the label: Look for the 90W power rating and voltage.
• Spin by hand: Turn the shaft. It should spin smooth and free.
• Look for breaks: Check the wires and plug for cuts. 

2. Resistance CheckYou use a Multimeter (a tool to measure electricity) for this step. 

• Unplug the motor.
• Set the tool to measure Ohms (Ω) (measure of wire resistance).

4. Running Test

• Hook the motor up to a power source.

• Listen for smooth running. Loud, grinding sounds mean bad bearings.
• Smell for burning. Burning smells mean the inside wire is fried.
