The Panasonic PM-Y45-P is a U-shaped (or fork-type) micro photoelectric sensor from the PM-45 series, with an integrated amplifier. It operates using a through-beam sensing method, where the emitter and receiver are built into a single housing and detect an object when it passes through the 6mm gap. The sensor provides a PNP open-collector output.
