How It Works

1. Light is sent. A main fiber optic cable shines light out of the sensor's tip.
2. Light bounces back. When an object passes in front of the tip, it bounces the light back into the sensor.
3. Switch turns on. The sensor sees the light. It sends an electronic signal to a machine's brain (like a PLC).
