A Tetko analog tension meter is a precision mechanical instrument used to measure the tension of screen printing mesh. Maintaining the proper, uniform tension of the mesh is critical for achieving high-quality, consistent results in screen printing. 

• Measurement principle: The Tetko analog meter uses a mechanical method to measure mesh tension. It employs a 3-point measuring base that is placed on the screen. The center point deflects into the mesh, and the instrument's dial measures the resulting force, which is converted to a tension value in Newtons per centimeter (N/cm).
• Analog display: The tension value is shown on a mechanical dial with a pointer. The user simply reads the tension value directly from the scale.
• No power required: Since it is a purely mechanical device, the 
  Tetko-Mat operates without any external power source.
• Factory calibrated: These meters are calibrated to zero before they leave the factory, so users generally do not need to make adjustments before use. For long-term accuracy, it should be stored carefully and checked periodically.
• Precision and reliability: The meter is designed to give consistent and accurate readings for both newly stretched and reused screens. For optimal performance, the meter should be stored in a dry, dust-free environment.
• Shockproof design: The instrument features a shock absorber to protect it from minor impacts and ensure continued accuracy. 

• Model TETKO 7-80N: A common model designed to measure screen tension in the range of 7 to 80 N/cm. It is suitable for a wide variety of wire and polyester meshes.
• Model TETKO 7-50N/CM: This variant measures tension in the 7 to 50 N/cm range.
